Key Responsibilities

Coyle Personnel has established strong relationships with secondary schools in and around Essex, providing short-term staff to cover lessons as needed. Our reputation for high standards in the education sector is upheld by our employees, who supervise classrooms and support the school's environment.

As a Cover Supervisor with Coyle Education, your responsibilities include:

• Distributing pre-set work according to lesson plans
• Setting expectations and facilitating quiet discussions
• Managing student behavior throughout lessons
• Responding positively to student questions
• Remaining calm and responsible during emergencies
• Reporting any issues to the school
• Collecting completed work at lesson's end
• Acting as a role model and leading by example

Essential Requirements

Beyond the right to work in the UK and being over 18, there are no strict requirements. However, GCSE qualifications in Maths and English are desirable.

Working Hours

Our schools generally operate from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday, and are closed during school holidays and half-terms. This schedule allows ample personal time and holiday pay during Christmas, Easter, and summer breaks.

Flexibility

Working with Coyle Education gives you control over your shifts, enabling you to organize your week to suit your needs, whether full-time or part-time. The school year includes 195 days, with salaries ranging from £18,000 to £26,000 pro-rata in the UK.
