Full time Cover Supervisor (CS) – Totton, Hampshire

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and confident individuals to join us as Cover Supervisors across vibrant schools in Totton. Whether you are a graduate thinking about teaching or someone looking for flexible, rewarding work—this role is your gateway to meaningful experience in the classroom.

This full-time role begins immediately or from September 2025. Enjoy flexible working arrangements, allowing you to select the days that best fit your schedule, with the opportunity to work up to five days per week.

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be the face at the front of the room when the regular teacher is away. You will keep learning on track by delivering pre-set lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring students stay focused and engaged. No teaching qualification needed—just a natural ability to lead and connect.

Responsibilities:

• Step into classes and manage learning during teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain classroom order.
• Monitor student progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns.
• Encourage active participation and positive interaction.
• Adapt to different age groups and subjects with confidence.
• Foster a calm, respectful, and productive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people (in schools, clubs, or similar settings).
