A well-regarded secondary school in East Grinstead is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced support staff member ready to step into a more active classroom role.

What does a Cover Supervisor do?

You’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school by:

• Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring learning continues
• Supporting students with their work and responding to questions
• Maintaining a calm, focused, and respectful learning environment
  
  

You won’t be expected to plan or mark — your focus is on delivery, supervision, and presence in the classroom.
