Overview
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a motivated and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a well-respected secondary school in Selsey, Chichester. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience or are considering a future career in teaching.
Responsibilities
- Supervise classes of students aged 11–16 during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
- Provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally have previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including exposure to SEN.
- Be confident and adaptable in a classroom setting, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people and their educational development.
Contract and Compensation
This is a full-time position with an immediate start. The role offers competitive daily pay between £100 and £120.
