Job summary

R&A Education Solutions is seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Chatham, Medway and surrounding Kent areas from September. No QTS required, just the ability to manage a classroom and follow pre-prepared lesson plans.

We offer £110–£160 per day with flexible work from 1–5 days per week, covering short-term, long-term and daily supply across KS3 and KS4. DBS checks preferred, with local consultant support and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secondary school or education setting
• Confidence managing classrooms independently
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver lessons using pre-set lesson plans
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using pre-set lesson plans in a supportive classroom environment
• Assist with keeping students on task and engaged
• Support KS3/KS4 learners and adapt to different subjects as needed
• Maintain professional conduct and DBS compliance while on site

R&A Education is recruiting confident, reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Chatham, Medway and the surrounding Kent areas from September.

Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, HLTA, Learning Support Assistant, Graduate, Unqualified Teacher or someone with strong classroom experience, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). If you can confidently manage a classroom, follow pre-prepared lesson plans and create a positive learning environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, HLTA, Learning Support Assistant, Tutor, Graduate or Teacher is highly desirable.
