Job summary

R&A Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in Faversham, Swale and surrounding Kent. You will help maintain a positive learning environment by following pre-prepared lesson plans and managing classroom behaviour.

The role offers flexible hours from 1 to 5 days per week, with competitive daily pay (£110–£160 per day) and access to ongoing CPD. Prior DBS update service preferred but not essential for all applicants.

R&A Education is recruiting reliable, confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Faversham, Swale and the surrounding Kent areas from September.

Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), Learning Support Assistant, Graduate, Unqualified Teacher or experienced education professional, we want to hear from you.

You don\'t need to be a qualified teacher. What matters is your ability to manage a classroom, follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.

What We\'re Looking For

• To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you will ideally:
• Have experience working in a secondary school or education setting
• Be confident managing secondary school classrooms
• Have strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Be able to confidently deliver lessons using pre-prepared lesson plans
• Be reliable, adaptable and professional
• Have experience working with KS3 and/or KS4 students
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
• Be committed to supporting students and maintaining a positive learning environment

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, HLTA, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Graduate or Teacher can be highly relevant.
