TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools around Brecon and surrounding areas. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and keep pupils engaged in various subjects, playing a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment.

With opportunities including short-term, daily supply, and longer-term roles, you can gain valuable classroom experience, pursue an education career, or find a consistent role.

Formación

• Experience with children or young people, ideally in a UK secondary school.
• Ability to supervise KS3 and KS4 classes.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across subjects.
• Excellent communication and building relationships with pupils and staff.
• Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Brecon, Powys

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £110 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of welcoming Secondary Schools across Brecon and the surrounding areas.

We have a range of exciting opportunities available, including flexible day-to-day supply, short-term assignments and longer-term positions. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a UK Secondary School environment
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their potential
