Warwick Preparatory School invites applications for outstanding and innovative Cover Lunchtime Supervisors. This casual role is available during term time and operates with a rolling basis from 11:30am to 1:45pm to supervise lunchtime activities for children.

Successful candidates will work with Teachers and Teaching Assistants to ensure a safe, enjoyable lunch period. The Head of Prep Department leads a team of fourteen Lunchtime Supervisors, with interviews arranged after shortlisting.

Job description

Warwick Preparatory School is seeking to appoint outstanding and innovative Cover Lunchtime Supervisors. The role is a casual role working when required by the school in term time only. Our lunchtime provision operates on a rolling basis starting with the youngest children going for their lunch at 11.30am and ending with the oldest children returning to class at 1.45pm.

The successful candidates will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to working in a variety of contexts including in the dining hall, Nursery and playgrounds, as set out in the job description.

They work alongside Teachers and Teaching Assistants on their own lunch duty to ensure a safe, enjoyable and fully supervised lunch period for all children.

The Head of Prep Department is the line manager for the Lunchtime Supervisor team, which is made up of fourteen colleagues in total.
