Job summary

Isio is seeking a qualified accountant with employer covenant advisory experience to join our Covenant Solutions team. This role offers exposure to complex pension and covenant advisory work and integration with actuarial and investment specialists.

You will build a portfolio of pension trustee clients, advise on covenant assessments, and support growth through transactions, restructurings, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CA/ACCA with clear evidence of relevant post-qualified experience.
• Experience in employer covenant and/or transaction/restructuring advisory.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand how businesses work.
• Experience with insolvency analysis/recoveries and estimating outcomes for creditors/pension schemes.
• Excellent report writing, financial analysis, client and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Building and managing a portfolio of pension trustee advisory clients and providing advice on employer covenant assessments.
• Performing and reviewing financial and commercial analysis for employer covenant assessments; coaching juniors.
• Assessing impact of corporate activities (transaction/restructure/refinancing) on employer covenant for pension schemes.
• Advising on covenant mitigation options and financial support strategies.
• Supporting external marketing to drive Isio's growth in pensions and covenant advisory.
• Engaging with trustees and sponsors to originate work and strengthen client relationships.
