Job summary

Kinly is recruiting an AV Technician for the Government sector, delivering and installing AV in Law Courts across England and Wales. The role involves travel, client-facing duties, and some heavy lifting, with hours from 6am to 6pm on a 40-hour week.

The successful candidate will have AV setup knowledge, strong communication skills, and be willing to obtain Security Clearance. Interviews are 2-stage: virtual and face-to-face.

Qualifications

• Experience with short-term AV solutions and video/audio setup.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• UK driving licence required.
• Willing to travel across England & Wales.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willing to undergo Security Clearance if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Audio Visual equipment.
• PAT testing of hire equipment.
• Test and upkeep stock.
• Update asset management records for Sunbury-based Kinly gear.
• Maintain consumable stock levels for Government hire.
• Securely wiping Government Hire PCs and update software/patches.
• Deliver and collect equipment to client venues, mainly Crown Courts.
• Install and de-rig AV for presenting evidence in Law Courts.
• Provide excellent service and liaise with clients and office for smooth event runs.
