Job summary

HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) in Wales seeks a diligent Support Officer to deliver high-quality administrative support and customer service to court users and colleagues. You will work as part of a team, processing papers, updating records, and supporting hearings and meetings in a busy environment.

You will be proactive, able to multitask and communicate clearly with the public and professionals. Full-time, on-site role with standard 37 hours per week; part-time and flexible patterns

Qualifications

  • Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT proficient with the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies and software.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
  • Creating and updating records on in-house systems and data input.
  • Resulting courts accurately, interpreting information required on a court file.
  • Checking and verifying documents, records, accounts, claims and returns for approval.
  • Collecting and assembling information for returns, results, accounts and statistics.
  • Communicating with the Public, the Judiciary, other Court and Tribunal Users and Organisations.
