To validate, create, amend, and quality assure computer records on arrested, remanded, or convicted persons, in accordance with relevant legislation, to maintain National Criminal Records on PNC.
Experience working knowledge of procedures and legislation is essential, including:
Knowledge of PNC, Niche, Corvus Browser, MS Word/Excel, Libra, Outlook, and Gazeteer systems is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
The role requires proficiency in all screens within the Phoenix application of PNC to accurately apply Arrests and Results, supporting intelligence-led policing.
Organizational skills, knowledge of recordable offences, and lawful sentencing are necessary to meet deadlines and targets. The ability to process large amounts of data logically and accurately is crucial. The candidate should be self-motivated, creative, flexible, and able to work under pressure. Good research skills and teamwork are also important.
