Purpose of the role
To manage operations within a business area, maintaining processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators.
Accountabilities
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through monitoring and analysis of operational data and performance metrics.
- Manage operations to promote efficient processes, risk management, and compliance initiatives supporting the bank's operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including business leaders, project managers, and SMEs) and external stakeholders (vendors and service providers) to support business operations and align with the bank's objectives and SLAs.
- Manage operational professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance delivery quality.
- Develop and manage KPIs to measure operational effectiveness, utilizing data and technology to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer experience.
- Create a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, actively solicit feedback, and focus on the right areas of people development.
- Work closely with HR to implement retention initiatives and manage attrition.
