Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a Mobile Security Officer to protect court & tribunal sites. You will oversee access control, monitor activity and respond to incidents, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all users across a defined radius.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shift patterns varying by site, and includes opportunities for overtime and training via the OCS Academy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must have Right to Work in the UK and pass DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Control access to buildings and follow security procedures.
• Operate CCTV, x-ray machines and handheld detectors as required.
• Patrol public and restricted areas and report incidents accurately.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security concerns and maintain professional conduct.
