Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to support court and tribunal sites within Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. This mobile, multi-site role requires flexibility to cover sites within a defined area and to provide a high standard of security and customer service.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on day shifts with no night work. The role involves access control, incident response and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required and DBS/BS7858 clearance ability is essential.
• Valid SIA licence and relevant security experience required.
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle may be required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage access to buildings and ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
• Operate CCTV, x-ray machines and handheld metal detectors as required.
• Conduct searches in line with site procedures.
• Patrol public and restricted areas and report incidents promptly.
• Record and report incidents accurately and maintain professional conduct.
