Rendall & Rittner is recruiting a Court Manager for Kingsford Court in the United Kingdom. This on-site, full-time role focuses on keeping the development safe, well‑run and resident‑focused, coordinating maintenance, safety checks and communications with residents and families.

You’ll be at the heart of a welcoming independent living community designed for comfort, safety and connection. You’ll work in a well-kept environment comprising of 40 apartments with thoughtful communal spaces. You will be supporting residents who value both independence and a friendly, familiar face. Each day brings variety, balancing building standards and safety with community engagement, resident wellbeing and coordination of trusted local services.
You will be the on-site point of contact for residents, families, guest and contractors ensuring the development runs smoothly and safely. You will manage compliance and maintenance, oversee daily checks, organise activities and communications, and foster a supportive, respectful community where residents feel heard and well looked after.
Residents feel safe, informed and
supported, with issues resolved quickly and with warmth. Compliance checks, health and safety records and audits are consistently accurate and up to date. Planned and reactive maintenance is coordinated proactively, with minimal disruption. Strong relationships with residents, families, suppliers and the wider Rendall & Rittner team. A well-run calendar of community communications and events that encourage engagement. Clear, timely reporting and documentation that stands up to internal and external scrutiny.
Completing daily building and safety checks, logging and actioning any issues. Coordinating contractors and cleaners, overseeing standards and scheduling works. Managing resident communications, newsletters and noticeboards, and handling enquiries. Maintaining records for compliance, fire safety, risk assessments and inspections. Supporting resident wellbeing by signposting services and facilitating community activities. Preparing reports and
liaising with the property manager on budgets, works and improvements.

You communicate clearly and kindly, building trust with residents and families. You’re hands‑on with daily checks and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done. Experience in retirement living, housing, hospitality, care‑adjacent or community management settings. Coordinating maintenance and contractors, with a good eye for building standards. Working knowledge of health and safety, compliance record‑keeping and incident reporting. Resident or customer‑facing roles where communication and empathy were central. Organising small events, activities or services that bring people together.
