Warwickshire County Council, Stratford District Family Help Team is looking for a passionate and committed Social Worker to join our family-focused team based in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Working from offices located just outside the town centre, the team supports children and young people aged 0-18 across a broad range of statutory services, including Child in Need, Child Protection, Public Law Outline (PLO), care proceedings, children in care and adoption work.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for Social Workers in our Support & Intervention Team within Stratford Family Help.

Responsibilities include:
  • Completing Family Help Assessments
  • Working with children from 0-18
  • Child In Need
  • Children’s Safeguarding
  • PLO & court work
  • Children in Care & Adoption
  • Experienced Social Worker scale L Up to £51,928 per annum. Plus, Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be available if the relevant policy criteria are met. Ts&Cs apply
Key Requirements:

Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.

  • Year 1 Newly Qualified Social Worker - Grade J
  • Year 2 Social Worker - Grade K
  • Year 3 Senior Social Worker - Grade L
