We are currently seeking to recruit our Country Manager for ViiV HC Belgium.

The Country Manager will independently lead ViiV HC in Belgium to accelerate growth, building on the success of the current portfolio and successfully launching ViiV HC’s pipeline of novel HIV therapies.

The Country Manager ViiV Belgium will be part of the France-Belgium ViiV HC Hub Leadership Team and a leader within ViiV HC Europe. As the leader of a nimble, entrepreneurial business, the goal is to excel in interactions and partnerships with Healthcare Professionals, Patients, and key stakeholders involved in HIV care in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The position is based in Belgium.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading all aspects of ViiV HC Business in Belgium with full P&L responsibility, focusing on:
• Maximizing the uptake of innovative brands and advancing HIV market transformation towards long-acting therapies
• Optimizing portfolio value of growth brands through strategic resource allocation
• Enhancing lifecycle value of the mature HIV portfolio
• Preparing and executing product launches, developing strategies aligned with regulations and policies
• Adapting EU strategies to local needs for alignment and optimization
• Representing ViiV HC externally by building relationships with government, payers, external experts, and advocacy groups
• Inspiring, coaching, and developing the local team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration
• Managing relationships with GSK as the main shareholder and service provider
• Ensuring compliance with company values and expectations

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

• Masters’ degree in Commercial, Economics, Business Administration, or Scientific studies
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years in a similar role (Commercial, Sales & Marketing, or Business Unit Lead)
• Strong leadership skills and hands-on experience
• Ability to influence stakeholders
• Proven leadership in driving performance and developing teams
• Experience managing complex projects
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Governmental Affairs or Market Access with a strong business mindset
• Experience in External Affairs, understanding pharma compliance and ethics
• Fluency in French and Dutch (spoken and written)
