Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. The role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, loading/unloading goods, stock control, and safely operating a counterbalance forklift.

You will work as part of a busy team, ensure accurate picking and packing, maintain safety standards, and contribute to inventory checks. A valid Counterbalance forklift licence and previous warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence or certification.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock within the warehouse.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Checking goods for damage or missing items.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required.
