Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Forklift counterbalance driver for an immediate start in Plympton. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, supporting dispatch, preparing customer orders, and loading/unloading containers. A valid forklift licence and warehouse experience are essential.

A 3-month assignment with flexible shifts and ongoing opportunities is offered. Benefits include weekly pay, online payslips, and optional permanent positions after a successful trial period.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence required.
• Experience in warehouse/dispatch/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience loading/unloading containers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Support daily dispatch activities and ensure orders are prepared and loaded accurately.
• Load and unload 20ft and 40ft shipping containers.
• Assist with stock movement, storage and inventory control.
