Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a temporary forklift driver with counterbalance licence for our drinks production facility in Buckfastleigh. The role supports efficient movement, loading, unloading and material handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

A valid forklift licence is essential. Monday-Friday 08:00am-16:30pm with weekly pay and pro-rata annual leave. Possible progression to permanent roles after a successful trial period.

Qualifications

• A valid forklift licence is essential.
• A forklift counterbalance experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Aisle master experience preferred but not essential.
• Load, unload, move and store products within the warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with materials as required.
• Accurately pick, stage and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Carry out stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
