Job summary

Interaction Recruitment seeks a forklift driver for an on-site role in Sittingbourne. Immediate start with a temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift for the majority of duties, move pallets in a busy yard, and handle dispatch paperwork with basic warehouse systems. Must hold a valid external Counterbalance licence and be able to drive since public transport is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Must have valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Must drive - site is not accessible by public transport.
• Computer literate and confident using basic warehouse systems.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift for approximately85% of the role.
• Working outdoors in a busy yard environment.
• Moving pallets around the yard and loading/unloading vehicles and warehouse areas.
• Using a computer to print labels and produce dispatch paperwork.
• Assisting with general yard duties when required.
• Ensuring all forklift operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
