Job summary

Quest Employment is recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a Northampton operation NN5. The role offers full-time hours with weekly pay, on-site shifts Monday to Friday, and potential progression to permanent placement.

Duties include loading/unloading with a Counterbalance forklift, stock movement, order prep, and stock control tasks in a fast-paced warehouse, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Have previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Are confident operating a Counterbalance forklift in a busy environment.
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Are comfortable completing manual handling duties.
• Have good communication and organisational skills.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Are reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift.
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse and yard.
• Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Checking, labelling and banding completed orders.
• Replenishing stock into storage locations and stillages.
• Supporting stock counts and stock control tasks.
• Completing warehouse paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties when required.
• Manual handling where needed.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.

Pay Rate: £13.97 per hour or £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 3:00pm or 4:00pm - 1:00am

The role will involve a mixture of forklift driving, manual handling, stock control and general warehouse duties within a fast-paced environment.

The Role
