Job summary

OA Group is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for their Bedford site. The role covers loading/unloading, stock movement, and ensuring safe warehouse operations on two shifts.

You will operate Counterbalance and PPT equipment, adhere to health and safety standards, and support a busy team. Immediate start available with weekly pay at £14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence with proven warehouse experience.
• PPT experience and relevant training/licence required.
• Previous warehouse experience, including loading/unloading and moving stock.
• Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices.
• Reliable, hardworking and capable of working in a busy warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Counterbalance Forklift and PPT equipment to move and store stock.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Pick, prepare and move stock/materials for dispatch and production.
• Complete daily equipment checks and maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and support the wider warehouse team as required.

Role: Counterbalance / PPT Forklift Driver

Location: Bedford

Hours: Monday to Friday - Two shifts available

07:00AM - 16:00PM OR 15:00PM - Midnight

Salary: £14.50 an hour, weekly pay

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Counterbalance / PPT Driver to join a well established company based in Bedford, to support the team unloading and loading stock.

Duties of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver

• Safely operate Counterbalance Forklift and Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) equipment to move and store stock
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Pick, prepare and move stock/materials for dispatch and production.
• Complete daily equipment checks and maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and support the wider warehouse team as required.

What we would like from you

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence with proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• PPT experience and relevant training/licence required.
