Job summary

Randstad CPE in Ashford, Kent is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for an immediate start. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move pallets around the yard, and support site deliveries across Ashford and wider Kent.

This temporary contract offers daily work with good earnings for an experienced driver. A CPCS/NPORS counterbalance ticket, PPE, and right to work in the UK are required to begin work today.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS counterbalance forklift qualification.
• Competent with warehouse computer systems.
• Flexible and willing to assist with yard duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift for material handling.

Pay Rate: £17.50 to £18.00 per hour (dependent on pay type; PAYE, umbrella PAYE or CIS)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for an immediate start today, delivering construction materials directly to sites across Ashford and the wider Kent area.

This contract is temporary but offering consistent daily work and strong weekly earnings for an experienced Forklift Driver.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the counterbalance forklift for the majority of the role
• Moving pallets around the yard and unloading/loading vehicles and warehouse areas
• Using a printer to print labels
• Ensuring all forklift operations are carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements

• CPCS or NPORS ticket with valid counterbalance forklift qualification
• Computer literate using warehouse systems
• Flexible and willing to assist with yard duties
• Full PPE (Steel toe boots, high-vis jacket, hard hat, gloves)
• Right to work in the UK
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
