Job summary

Kinetic plc in Blackpool is seeking an FLT Driver with a current Counter Balance licence to join a factory team. The role covers moving stock, basic assembly, and operating sheet metal machinery. Ideal candidates have manufacturing/warehouse experience and can start immediately.

Local candidates are preferred due to start times. Hours are 36 per week, Mon-Thurs from 07:30 to 17:00, with an hourly rate of £13.63.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Counter Balance FLT licence.
• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
• Local to Blackpool area is important due to start times.
• Availability to work Mon-Thu, 07:30–17:00, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Move stock around the factory floor.
• Load/unload materials and pallets.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Assemble sheet metal parts and perform general assembly tasks.
• Operate hand tools and machinery for sheet metal folding/bending.

As a FLT Driver you will be:

• Moving stock
• Some heavy lifting may also be required
• Reading from technical drawings
• Assembling sheet metal
• General Assembly work
• Moving pallets (using hand held lifts)
• Use of machinery in the folding and bending of sheet metal
• Need a current Counter Balance FLT Licence

I am looking for suitable, reliable person to start this job, suitable candidates will have worked in a manufacturing / warehouse environment previously driving an FLT truck.

Candidates will need to be local as public transport isn't ideal for start times.
