Job summary

KPI Recruiting are recruiting a Counterbalance FLT Driver for our client in Cheshire. You will work Monday to Friday with alternating early and late shifts: Week 1 06:00-14:00, Week 2 14:00-22:00, operating a Counterbalance FLT to load/unload, move stock, and support overall warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Counterbalance FLT license, some loading/unloading experience, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT license/certificate.
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles/containers desirable.
• Good awareness of workplace safety and pedestrian areas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload curtain-sided vehicles and shipping containers.
• Move and position stock safely around the warehouse and yard.
• Carry out stock rotation and ensure products are stored correctly.
• Complete daily FLT safety and equipment checks.
• Report any FLT faults, damage, or safety issues immediately.
• Ensure pallets are correctly positioned and safely stored.
• Maintain accurate stock movements and follow warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Follow all site Health & Safety and operational procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
