Job summary

Pertemps Birmingham Commercial is recruiting for a Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative in Erdington. The role is full-time with initial training 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, followed by rotating shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload, pick and relocate stock, and keep the warehouse tidy. Applicants should have a valid CB licence and be reliable, hardworking and flexible to support colleagues.

Job description

Based in Erdington, this full-time Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative role with Pertemps Birmingham Commercial pays £13.25 to £14.70 per hour.

Training initially runs 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, before moving to rotating shifts of 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.

The successful candidate will operate a counterbalance forklift safely, load and unload vehicles, pick and relocate stock, and put goods away while keeping the warehouse tidy.

General warehouse tasks are also part of the job, so flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues are essential.
