Job summary

Pertemps Birmingham Commercial is recruiting for a Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative in Erdington. The role is full-time with initial training 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, followed by rotating shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload, pick and relocate stock, and keep the warehouse tidy. Applicants should have a valid CB licence and be reliable, hardworking and flexible to support colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance licence required.
• Proven forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CB forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Pick and move stock around the warehouse.
• Put stock away and maintain an organised warehouse.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.
• Assist during busy periods to help the team.
