Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is 80% forklift driving and 20% warehouse duties, supporting production with safe material movements and high housekeeping standards.

A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential and you will work a 4 On / 6 Off rotating pattern (12-hour shifts). You will move materials, perform stock movements, complete system transactions, and assist with SOPs and risk assessments while maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• 4 On / 6 Off rotating shift pattern (2 Days / 2 Nights).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Good computer skills with the ability to complete system transactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely to transport materials throughout the site.
• Carry out warehouse duties including stock movement, housekeeping, and general operational support.
• Complete material movement transactions using a computer terminal.
• Ensure production lines are supplied with materials to maintain continuous operations.
• Perform routine checks on equipment and report any faults promptly.
• Maintain IT equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), and storage areas.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments.
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe.

Shift: 4 On / 6 Off - 12-hour rotating shifts (2 Days / 2 Nights)

Salary: £25,000 starting salary £14.46ph pay increase after probation
