Job summary

Quest Employment is recruiting Counterbalance Drivers for a busy Coventry warehouse. Immediate start with a guaranteed pay rise after two weeks, weekly pay and 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts. Any 5 days out of 7, permanent ongoing temporary work.

Applicants with in-house, expired or current Counterbalance licences are welcome to apply. Training and support provided by a dedicated recruitment team in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance truck experience required (minimum 3 months).
• Must follow warehouse procedures and safety rules.
• License accepted: in-house, expired, or current Counterbalance licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently.
• Move and store stock within the warehouse.
• Load and unload deliveries and pick/ replenish stock.
• Use warehouse systems and equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate stock locations and tidy work area.

Quest Employment are currently recruiting Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Coventry, CV8.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for ongoing work, weekly pay, stable hours and a guaranteed pay increase after two weeks.

Please note: We can accept candidates with an in-house Counterbalance qualification or an expired Counterbalance licence.

The Role

As a Counterbalance Driver, your duties may include:

• Operating a Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking and replenishing stock
• Using warehouse systems and equipment as required
• Checking stock and maintaining accurate locations
• General warehouse duties will be required if no work available on the Counterbalance truck
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Key Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable and punctual
• Experienced operating a Counterbalance Truck (minimum 3 months experience)
• Safety-conscious and able to follow warehouse procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible to work any 5 days out of 7
• Holds an accredited, in-house or expired Counterbalance licence
