Job summary

Extrastaff is seeking a Counterbalance Driver for an immediate start at East Midlands Gateway near Castle Donnington, Derbyshire. You will move pallets with counterbalance forklifts and perform warehouse tasks with accuracy.

Hours: 6:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00. Pay: £13.80 per hour, with £16.56 after 18:00 and overtime up to £27.60 per hour. Immediate start subject to assessment.

Qualifications

• Must have Counterbalance Driver certificate.
• Counterbalance certification from RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT/TOPS/NPORS acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets of stock safely using counterbalance forklifts.
• Accurately complete orders and replenish stock.
• Perform manual handling when off the truck.
• Scan products and check in/out customer stock.

Job description

We are looking for Counterbalance Driver for immediate start in East Midlands Gateway near Castle Donnington, Derbyshire.

MUST HAVE VALID Counterbalance Driver CERTIFICATE

Location: East Midlands Gateway, Castle Donnington, Derbyshire. DE74

Hours and pay:

• Monday to Friday fixed am shift 6:00-14:00
• Monday to Friday fixed pm shift 14:00-22:00
• Pay: Standard - £13.80 per hour
• £16.56 p/h after 18:00
• Overtime up to £27.60 per hour

As a Counterbalance Driver you will be responsible for moving pallets of stock safely and securely within the warehouse using Counterbalance forklifts to accurately complete orders and when replenishing stock. You will also be off the truck moving products manually.

Duties of a Counterbalance Driver:

• Moving pallets of products to and from high bay racking
• Accurate checking in/out of customers products
• Picking required pallets of stock
• Scanning of products
• Other related warehouse tasks as requested such as labelling and stock checks

Current certificates/refreshers accepted for this Counterbalance Driver role:

Counterbalance FLT operative certificates should be from a recognised training provider (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, TOPS, NPORS) minimum 1 year operational experience.
