Main Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist customers at the trade counter, providing knowledgeable product advice and ensuring a positive experience
  • Accurately process sales orders, quotations, and payments in a timely manner
  • Share your product expertise to guide customers toward the best solutions or suitable alternatives
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting trade counter area
  • Collaborate effectively with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and timely order fulfilment
  • Support general branch operations as needed, contributing to a dynamic work environment
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in customer service, retail sales, or trade counter roles, with timber or building supplies experience considered advantageous
  • Confident and approachable communicator, with a strong customer focus
  • Highly organised and reliable, with excellent attention to detail, particularly in busy periods
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative to improve customer satisfaction and team efficiency
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems for order processing and stock management
