Know how to run a busy trade counter with confidence?

We’re hiring a [Trade Counter Sales Advisor / Sales Assistant / Sales Advisor] at Graham Plumbing (UKPS), Goole– someone who knows their stock, their customers, and how to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced merchant environment.

You’ll handle everything from quoting and upselling to re-engaging lower-spend accounts and making sure the counter runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

·Serving trade and cash customers on the counter

·Building quotes and providing technical product advice

·Supporting trade account management and re-engagement

·Maintaining the shop floor and stock areas

·Helping with local pricing, displays, and ordering

·Picking and packing orders for customer deliveries

·Creating great relationships with loyal, repeat customers

What We’re Looking For

·Experience in plumbing & heating, DIY, or builders' merchant environment

·Strong customer-facing skills and confident communication

·Comfortable managing pricing, ordering, and in-store decision-making

·Team-first approach and pride in a tidy, efficient counter

·Full UK driving license
