Benefit Cosmetics is seeking a Full-time Counter Manager for Boots, Lakeside Shopping Centre. You will lead Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals, provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services, and create exceptional customer experiences.

The role drives team motivation, stock control, and collaboration with area managers to grow brand presence and store performance. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of customer service experience in retail or hospitality.
• At least 6 months of management experience.
• Dynamic, enthusiastic, and sales-driven.
• Passion for make-up and retail, with focus on achieving targets.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sales management: Lead and motivate Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals, ensuring high service standards.
• Provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat bookings.
• Target-driven sales: personally connect with customers and demonstrate products to achieve individual and counter targets.
• Promote teamwork through daily meetings and maintain open communication.
• Develop in-store events and collaborations to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Monitor stock levels and report concerns to minimise lost sales opportunities.
• Communicate between store managers and area managers to keep the counter informed.
• Oversee administrative tasks and monthly staff scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain brand presentation, hygiene, and counter displays.

Benefit is Glowing... We Mean Growing... and we are currently searching for a Full-time, 37.5-hour, Counter Manager to make real connections in Boots, Lakeside Shopping Centre! As a Counter Manager, you'll be instrumental in achieving sales targets and creating exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities

• Sales Management: Lead and motivate Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals, ensuring high service standards. Delegate effectively and inspire the team to maximize performance.
• Brow Services: Provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, leading to repeat appointments and increased service customers.
• Target-Driven Sales: Personally connect with customers through traffic stopping, demonstrate products with passion, and consistently achieve your individual sales targets and contribute to the overall counter goals.
• Teamwork and Motivation: Conduct engaging daily team meetings, promote open communication, and recognize achievements to keep the team focused on crushing individual and counter targets.
• Business Growth: Develop innovative in-store and external events through strategic linkups, collaborations, product launches, and impactful charity initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Stock Optimisation: Ensure the counter is always fully stocked, monitor inventory levels closely, and immediately report concerns to the Area Manager to minimise lost sales opportunities.
• Communication Leadership: Act as a key communicator between store/department managers and area managers, ensuring important information flows smoothly and the counter team is always informed.
• Efficient Administration: Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks, supporting the Area Manager and ensuring smooth store operations.
• Staff Scheduling Excellence: Create fair and effective monthly staff rotas that optimize coverage to support sales goals.
• Brand Presentation: Maintain exceptional hygiene and housekeeping standards for the counter and displays, ensuring a visually appealing and professional shopping environment at all times.

• Result-oriented, who likes a challenge and exceeding sales expectations
• Desire to provide a unique customer experience that drives customer loyalty and repeat business
• Flexible availability including weekends, late nights, Bank holidays and holiday periods.
• A minimum of 4 years of prior customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment is required for this role with a passion for sales success
• Minimum 6 months of management experience
