Benefit Cosmetics UK is seeking a Part-time Counter Manager for our Belfast Airport counter. You will lead Brow and Beauty Experts, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure flawless brand presentation in a fast-paced travel retail environment.

Join our airport team and manage scheduling, stock, daily operations, and events. 18+ and airport pass requirements apply; early starts may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of customer service experience in retail or hospitality.
• Minimum 6 months of management experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends, late nights, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sales Management: Lead and motivate Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals.
• Target-Driven Sales: Personally connect with customers, demonstrate products, and achieve individual sales targets.
• Teamwork and Motivation: Conduct daily team meetings, promote open communication, and recognise achievements.
• Business Growth: Develop in-store and external events through linkups, collaborations, product launches and charity initiatives.
• Stock Optimisation: Ensure counter is fully stocked, monitor inventory, report concerns to Area Manager.
• Communication Leadership: Act as a key communicator between store/department managers and area managers.
• Efficient Administration: Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual admin tasks and support Area Manager.
• Staff Scheduling Excellence: Create monthly rotas that optimise coverage and sales goals.
• Brand Presentation: Maintain high hygiene and professional displays at all times.

As a Counter Manager, you'll be instrumental in achieving sales targets and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Please note in order to be able to work in the airport you will need to be 18 or over.

Responsibilities

As a Counter Manager, your missions, will be as follows:

• Sales Management: Lead and motivate Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals, ensuring high service standards. Delegate effectively and inspire the team to maximize performance.
• Target-Driven Sales: Personally connect with customers, demonstrate products with passion, and consistently achieve your individual sales targets and contribute to the overall counter goals.
• Teamwork and Motivation: Conduct engaging daily team meetings, promote open communication, and recognize achievements to keep the team focused on crushing individual and counter targets.
• Business Growth: Develop innovative in-store and external events through strategic linkups, collaborations, product launches, and impactful charity initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Stock Optimisation: Ensure the counter is always fully stocked, monitor inventory levels closely, and immediately report concerns to the Area Manager to minimise lost sales opportunities.
• Communication Leadership: Act as a key communicator between store/department managers and area managers, ensuring important information flows smoothly and the counter team is always informed.
• Efficient Administration: Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks, supporting the Area Manager and ensuring smooth store operations.
• Staff Scheduling Excellence: Create fair and effective monthly staff rotas that optimize coverage and support sales goals.
• Brand Presentation: Maintain exceptional hygiene and housekeeping standards for the counter and displays, ensuring a visually appealing and professional shopping environment at all times.

• Joining our airport crew means you're part of something significant! To ensure everyone's journey is secure and efficient, here's the essential checklist for all airport roles: You will need to successfully complete 5 years of referencing checks, fulfil the requirements for a DBS check, complete our mandatory airport training, and, critically, obtain your airport pass. Please be aware that all airport roles also require availability for early starts, potentially as early as 4 AM. Please note: the pass process typically requires approximately 6-8 weeks before you can commence in the role.
