Bupa Mindplace Cardiff is seeking an experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist to deliver high-quality counselling for customers, working both independently and within a clinical team. The role includes assessments, formulations, and a range of service delivery models including face-to-face sessions.

The position requires accreditation, post-qualification counselling experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BACP Accredited Counsellors/Psychotherapists with recognised registration.
• NCPS Professional Accredited Registrants are required.
• UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellors/Psychotherapists are required.
• Minimum of 3 years full-time post-qualification counselling experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality counselling or brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence-based interventions.
• Offer different models of service delivery, including face to face sessions.
• Adhere to case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.
• Work within sessional limits based on client benefits.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Offer wellbeing support and coaching.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and promote mental wellbeing through remote sessions.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa policies.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
• Collaborate with teams to improve client and employee experiences.
