Job summary

A specialist personal injury firm in Manchester is recruiting a costs draftsperson with 2+ years' costs litigation experience. You will manage your own caseload, review inter partes disputes, negotiate settlements and prepare cases for summary and detailed assessment.

The firm, ranked in the Legal 500, offers a competitive salary up to £50,000 plus comprehensive benefits and hybrid working options. You will work closely with the partner in charge, supported by a dedicated costs team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in costs litigation.

• This specialist personal injury practice has its own costs team that handle all aspects of costs relating to PI and Clinical Negligence matters.
• Suitable candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in costs litigation and will have a track record handling a fixed costs caseload reviewing inter partes disputes, negotiating settlement and preparing cases for summary and detailed assessment.
• You will work closely with partner in charge, managing your own caseload of files, utilising a case management system.
