Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment Manchester invites applications from an experienced Costs Draftsperson for a leading specialist litigation firm. You will manage a fixed costs caseload, review inter partes disputes, negotiate settlements and prepare cases for assessment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in costs litigation and track record handling a fixed costs caseload.
• Experience reviewing inter partes disputes, negotiating settlements and preparing cases for summary or detailed assessment.
• Ability to work with partners and manage own caseload using a case management system.

Responsibilities

• Manage own fixed costs caseload and coordinate with the partner in charge.
• Review and negotiate disputes, prepare cases for assessment and settlement where appropriate.
• Utilise case management software to track progress and deadlines.

• This specialist personal injury practice has its own costs team that handle all aspects of costs relating to PI and Clinical Negligence matters.
• Suitable candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in costs litigation and will have a track record handling a fixed costs caseload reviewing inter partes disputes, negotiating settlement and preparing cases for summary and detailed assessment.
• You will work closely with partner in charge, managing your own caseload of files, utilising a case management system.
