Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for Cost Managers to join our London-based Communities and Local Government Cost Management Team. We support high-profile projects across the central and local government sector. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible working options considered.

The team handles a variety of projects for notable public sector organizations, including refurbishment of listed buildings, office fit-outs, residential projects, and master planning within cost management and cost assurance.

Responsibilities include:

• Commercial delivery of diverse projects
• Establishing professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders
• Managing costs of contracts aligned with project goals and policies
• Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project costs accurately
• Managing cost variances and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams to meet project KPIs and objectives
• Managing contract changes effectively within governance frameworks
• Improving forecast and budget accuracy
• Providing commercial expertise and support to stakeholders
• Negotiating and finalizing project accounts

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cost management or quantity surveying across project lifecycles
• Degree or HNC qualification
• Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
