Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor - Construction

Turner & Townsend has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Manager to join our Newcastle Real Estate team. You will help guide our clients and their professional teams on iconic projects across the Northeast.

You should have a keen interest in construction, with good knowledge from a Main Contracting or PQS background, and an outgoing, collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in feasibility studies and procurement reports
• Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans
• Tendering and procurement management
• Managing post-contract cost variances and change control processes
• Carrying out cost checks and valuations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Producing monthly post-contract cost reports for clients
• Negotiating and finalizing accounts
• Interfacing with clients and consultants at all project stages

Experience and Skills:

• Proven track record in delivering high-quality cost management or quantity surveying services throughout the project lifecycle
• Professional qualification (RICS or similar) preferred
• Degree or HNC qualification
