Job summary

WSP is seeking a Cost Manager to support major multidisciplinary programmes within the Defence and Security business. You will manage AFPs, lead subcontractor rate audits and ensure robust financial governance across the programme lifecycle.

Based in the UK with hybrid working, you will extract data from Oracle HR/Finance to support cost reporting, and act as the bridge between commercial and finance teams while safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cost management on complex, high-value programmes.
• Ability to manage AFPs across a large programme lifecycle.
• Proven track record coordinating subcontractor rate audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Applications for Payment (AFP) across the programme.
• Lead subcontractor audits of rates for accuracy and value for money.
• Extract and interrogate data from Oracle HR/Finance to support cost reporting.
• Act as liaison between commercial and finance teams to ensure governance.
• Maintain thorough documentation for audit justifications.
• Handle sensitive data with discretion and data governance.
