Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting a Cost Manager in Birmingham on a hybrid basis. The role supports the Head of Cost and Estimating at a Programme and Contract level, managing budgets, actual costs, forecasts and EVM to aid project delivery.

The candidate will verify cost performance, produce performance reports, and support cost control processes across the project’s lifecycle. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost management or project controls within a major project lifecycle.
• Experience in producing performance reports including EVM, forecasts, and budgets.
• Experience in using cost management systems including Prism and EcoSys.
• Experience in baseline maintenance, schedule management, cost performance, change and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and verify contract level cost performance, ensuring data reflects Programme performance for reporting.
• Validate and communicate cost performance data submitted by delivery teams to Programme.
• Assist development of contract level performance reports including Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasted costs, and EAC.
• Support the Head of Cost with adherence to cost performance processes and procedures.
• Provide technical support to Project Controls Managers and work with supply chain to improve cost performance.
