A major engineering firm in Glasgow is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Engineer. You will work closely with Cost Engineers and Project Managers to ensure accuracy in budgets and forecasts. The role includes preparing cost forecasts, monitoring budgets, and supporting month-end reporting. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining cost forecasts with the Cost Engineer and Project Managers.
• Collaborate with Programme Planners to align forecasts with project schedules.
• Monitor spend and budgets to support cost control and affordability.
• Support month-end reporting and maintain data across internal financial systems.
• Attend monthly supplier meetings and support contract admin via CEMAR.
• Raise purchase requisitions and process invoices in internal systems.
• Verify invoices/valuations and support resolution of financial queries.

Skills
