Job summary

Turner Townsend in Edinburgh is seeking a Cost Engineer to support major projects with accurate cost performance reporting and Earned Value Management metrics. You will develop cost control data structures, establish budgets, track costs, and forecast ETC and EAC.

The role requires a graduate in a relevant discipline, with experience delivering project controls for large programmes. Familiarity with Prism, Ecosys, SAP or Oracle is advantageous and SOX considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a relevant discipline with project controls experience.
• CIMA qualification welcomed.
• Experience delivering cost engineering on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost control data structures to track costs.
• Set project control budgets aligned with baselines.
• Track actual costs against cost controls.
• Forecast with ETC and EAC and report EVMS.
• Monitor change control and risk exposure.
• Provide timely cost performance reporting.
