Job summary

KBR in Warrington is seeking a Cost Engineer to deliver and maintain a comprehensive cost engineering framework for major projects. You will support baselines, forecasts, accruals and cost reporting to Project Managers and sponsors.

The role emphasizes earned value analysis, cash flow projections and change management, with mentoring of junior engineers and ongoing process improvements under the Programme and Project Partners model.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and manage cost frameworks for major projects.
• Experience preparing, monitoring and forecasting baselines.
• Ability to produce cost reports including earned value analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage the cost framework, systems and resources for cost control and reporting to Project Managers and Sponsors.
• Prepare, monitor and forecast baselines and expenditure profiles.
• Produce cost reports with earned value analysis and identify trends.
• Maintain cost control database and validate data across systems.
• Lead change management and maintain cash flow projections.
