Job summary

Cooper Moss Rutland in Reading is seeking a Cost Engineer to join a dynamic, award-winning team. You will support cost control, forecasting and reporting across a major UK infrastructure programme, helping to ensure accurate cost data and informed decision making.

The role requires DV clearance or current SC and willingness to go through DV. We offer a competitive salary, hybrid working in Reading, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost engineering, cost control or project controls.
• Ability to clearly communicate cost and performance information.
• Strong attention to detail in cost data interpretation and analysis.
• Experience with cost reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Understanding of Project Controls and cost management principles.
• Proficient with Excel and cost reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, forecasting and reporting across a major infrastructure programme.
• Collate, analyse and report cost information per governance processes.
• Produce cost reports, dashboards, accruals, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Work with project controls, commercial and delivery teams to monitor cost performance.
• Review cost data and challenge information to ensure accurate updates.
