Job summary

Lawson Fuses is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the finance team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on cost management, budgeting support, and financial reporting, with emphasis on D365 ERP Finance & Operations and cost accounting principles.

You will analyse production costs, prepare statements, participate in month-end and year-end processes, and collaborate with procurement and operations to drive cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Budgeting and cost reporting experience
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Understanding of cost accounting principles
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially D365
• Ability to present data clearly to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Analyse production costs and prepare detailed reports identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor and control manufacturing expenses ensuring adherence to budgets.
• Assist in development and maintenance of cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Develop, maintain and train users of internal information systems, particularly D365 ERP Finance & Operations.
• Collaborate with production, procurement and finance to gather relevant data.
• Prepare cost statements, variance analyses and financial forecasts.
