Overview

As the Business Analyst, your role will be focused on cost and you will be responsible for driving improved understanding and reporting of costs and related items in the European business. With over $250m of cost across multiple locations, systems and a range of products and services, our client requires a talented individual to develop and maintain key reports, improve business processes and support internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Establish regular and accurate headcount reporting across the organization.
• Provide regular cost analysis and reporting to management and cost owners.
• Produce the required management reports to support weekly / monthly meetings.
• Provide and report relevant and accurate KPIs.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure data flows promptly and accurately.
• Ensure the control procedures for the delivery of Management Information are adhered to, and take corrective action where necessary.
• Quality check data for consistency and robustness and regular reconciliation of data to key financial systems.
• Provide data and analysis to enable a clear understanding of performance against financial forecasts. Interpreting the data to support decision making is a key part of the role.
• Develop and improve the delivery of Management Information and identify gaps in Management Information and develop and deliver plans to close them.
• Work with the management team to improve forecasting processes.
• Lead / support cost reduction programs.
• Other ad-hoc analysis as required.
• The role will also cover for the Business Analyst focused on sales as required.
