Job summary

Schlemmer in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cost Accountant with manufacturing experience to join the finance team. You will analyse manufacturing and production costs, monitor material, labour and overheads, and produce cost reports to support operational decision-making.

You will assist with inventory valuation, month-end reporting and variance analyses, and work closely with production and operations to drive continuous cost improvements across the business.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Cost & Management Accounting.
• Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Experience with inventory, stock and manufacturing costing.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical ability.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
